We’re happy to announce an agreement with Greenpop from South Africa (greenpop.org), collaborating on reforestation in Mulanje. Under this agreement, 8 hectares of indigenous forest near Misanjo will be restored. To have lasting impact, the use of wood for fuel will be reduced by introducing fuel-efficient stoves. Training and materials to sustainably generate income from forest products (such as honey) will be provided to the surrounding communities. This collaboration will run for three years. For more information about reforestation, do ask us!
