Isolation ward

The isolation ward is used for patients with easily transmissible infectious disease, such as Covid-19, open tuberculosis and cholera. Recently the ward has functioned as a Covid-19 emergency treatment unit. MMH is one of the few mission hospitals in Malawi providing a full package of Covid-19 treatment.

Solar powered oxygen equipment and a dedicated team are resources that were put in place to cope with the Covid-19 pandemic in Mulanje.
